Welcome to DreamWorks Driving School, if you’ve found your way to this page, you’ll either be wanting to become a driving instructor with us or you’ll be an existing driver trainer looking to further develop; both your teaching opportunities and business acumen with our Instructor Training Program (ITP)

These requirements are set by Department of Transport & Main Roads (TMR) and are the minimum to becoming an accredited driver trainer. 

To ensure the continued improvement of instructors entering and staying in the industry, we take the quality of our instructors very seriously to ensure that everyone stays safe on the road, thus there may be additional professional development requirements upon joining the #DreamTeam. 

 

  • Cert IV in Transport & Logistics (Car Driving Instruction)
  • Minimum 12 months on full open licence (manual or auto)
  • Sound traffic history as determined by TMR
  • Blue Card Working with Children (Positive Notice)
  • Instructor or school to supply suitable vehicle
  • Professional indemnity & public liability insurance
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Defensive Driving / Advanced Car Control
