JOIN THE DREAMWORKS CREW

Manual evangelists, calm coaches, road-safety nerds — this one’s for you.

TEACH SKILLS THAT LAST A LIFETIME

We’re not your cookie-cutter driving school.
We’re a proudly independent Brisbane crew with big energy and a clear mission: build confident, safe drivers — and keep manuals alive (#savethemanuals).

If you love teaching, care about road safety, and believe learning should be fun but effective (zero-fluff, all skills), you’re our kind of human.

All potential instructors wanting to join the team will need to go through our ITP.

  • Competitive pay + paid test-day support
  • Flexible hours (days, evenings, weekends if you want)
  • Manual and automatic students (manual is our jam)
  • Dual-controlled, 5-star ANCAP cars (or use your own if compliant)
  • Structured syllabus + student progress feedback tools
  • Real support: booking/admin help so you can focus on teaching

Instructor Training Program (ITP)

Expression of Interest

Welcome to DreamWorks Driving School!

If you’ve found your way here, you’re probably ready for one of two things:

  • To kickstart a career as a driving instructor with us.
  • Or to level up your teaching opportunities and business game through our Instructor Training Program (ITP).

Either way — you’re in the right place.

Our focus is simple: deliver the highest quality teaching so Queensland roads stay safe and our students become confident, capable drivers.

Thanks for finding your way to us — we can’t wait to welcome you to the #DreamTeam.

If you’ve got questions, reach out anytime.

Cheers,

Who We’re Looking For

  • You teach the way people actually learn — step by step, calm, clear.
  • You live by “slow is smooth, smooth is safe.”
  • You can explain clutch control without sounding like a rocket scientist.
  • You’re professional, punctual, and (let’s be honest) a little safety-obsessed.
  • You give honest, structured feedback — kindly.

Why Join the #DreamTEAm

  • Structured, supportive training with a clear pathway to accreditation.
  • Guaranteed job placement when you complete certification.
  • Mentorship & business support to help you grow your teaching opportunities.
  • A crew that actually has your back – we take instructor quality seriously, so you’re never flying solo.

What You’ll Need (Minimum Requirements)

The following are set by Transport & Main Roads (TMR) and are the minimum to become an accredited driver trainer:

  • Blue Card – Working with Children (Positive Notice)
  • Suitable vehicle (supplied by instructor or school)
  • Professional indemnity & public liability insurance
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Defensive Driving / Advanced Car Control Training

Heads Up:

  • Everyone who completes certification with us is guaranteed a position with DreamWorks.
